Tennant Minerals Ltd (ASX: TMS) has announced new high-grade gold and copper intersections from its latest drilling program at the Bluebird discovery within its 100%-owned Barkly Project in the Northern Territory.

Instant Summary:

  • New high-grade copper and gold zones identified at Bluebird.
  • Significant intersections include 5m at 8.3 g/t Au, 2.0% Cu, and 9.8 g/t Ag.
  • New mineralized zones identified to the east and west, expanding resource potential.
  • Four large, high-grade copper-gold lenses identified, each up to 300m in length and 200m deep.
  • Results pending from step-out RC holes within the 2.5km Bluebird-Perseverance trend.

New Discoveries and High-Grade Intersections

Tennant Minerals Ltd has reported significant new high-grade gold and copper intersections from its latest reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Bluebird discovery. These results expand the resource potential to the east, west, and at depth within the Bluebird ironstone corridor.

The latest results include a 5m high-grade gold zone grading 8.3 g/t Au, 2.0% Cu, and 9.8 g/t Ag in drill hole BBRC0040. This zone is part of an overall 14m zone grading 4.0% CuEq. Another significant intersection includes 18m at 1.3% CuEq in BBRC0044.

Expansion Potential

The drilling program has identified new mineralized zones to the east and west of previous drilling, confirming the potential for high-grade mineralization to continue within the regional ironstone gravity corridor. A new well-mineralized zone of copper-gold mineralization has also been identified at Bluebird East, which is thickening with depth and demonstrates significant expansion potential.

Future Prospects

Up to four large, high-grade copper-gold lenses have been identified from updated interpretations of the mineralization at Bluebird. These lenses occur within the east-west trending ironstone host corridor, which remains completely open to the east and west down-plunge of the previously defined mineralization.

Results are pending from a series of step-out RC holes within the 2.5km strike-length Bluebird-Perseverance trend. These results will be integrated with detailed gravity, auger geochemistry, and air-core drilling programs currently in progress to define new priority targets for Bluebird repeats within this zone.

Impact Analysis

The expansion of the Bluebird discovery with new high-grade gold and copper intersections is likely to have a positive impact on Tennant Minerals' stock. The identification of new mineralized zones and the potential for further expansion could attract investor interest and boost confidence in the company's exploration capabilities.

Investor Reaction:

Analysts are expected to react positively to the news, noting the significant expansion potential and high-grade intersections reported. The identification of new mineralized zones and the potential for further discoveries within the Bluebird-Perseverance trend could lead to increased investor interest and a potential rise in the company's stock price.

Conclusion:

Investors should keep a close eye on the final results from the step-out RC holes and the ongoing drilling programs within the Bluebird-Perseverance trend. Tennant Minerals' continued success in expanding the Bluebird discovery could present significant opportunities for growth and value creation.
